Students in the Human Services & Medical Professions Academy will choose from four programs: Cosmetology, Emergency & Fire Services, Human Services, or Medical Professions. Regardless of their choice, students will benefit from a collaborative teaching model and will have the opportunity to work with teachers and students in all four programs, expanding their knowledge and skill base and practicing 21st Century skills to prepare for today's workplace. As the United States continues to compete in a global economy that demands innovation, NWTC academies provide 21st Century tools and resources to help students prepare for college and careers by fusing the three R's and four C's (critical thinking and problem solving, communication, collaboration, and creativity and innovation).
