Digital Arts
Digital Arts is for a creative person who also likes technology. The Digital Arts Program focuses on communication in a digital world with an emphasis on artistic and electronic design. Students develop skills in digital graphic design, animation, website design, digital photography and videography. In addition, students will explore careers in the field of digital arts. Photoshop, iMovie, Final Cut, Flash, Fireworks, and Dreamweaver are programs that will be utilized in this program.
Digital Arts I/II (Course# 70821) – Morning Option
This class meets on A and B (green and gold) days in the morning from 8:52 to 11:20 and on C (white) days for one period. Students earn 2.5 elective credits and ½ Science credit upon completion of this class. Both first and second year students are welcome in this morning class. Juniors and Seniors also take an integrated English class during this time and earn a college prep English credit.
Digital Arts I/II- (Course# 70821) – Afternoon Option
This class meets each afternoon from 11:50 to 2:05. Students earn 3 elective credits and ½ Science credit upon completion of this class. Both first and second year students are welcome in this afternoon class.
Prerequisite for the First Year Student: This class is open to all 10th, 11th and 12th graders who have earned a "C" or better in Freshman level English or higher level.
Prerequisite for the Second Year Student: This class is open to all 11th and 12th graders who have earned a "C" or better in Digital Arts 1.

One Period Class
In Focus: Digital Photography—This class is open to all 9th through 12th graders who have earned a "C" or better in Freshman English or are enrolled in Freshman English. Learn digital photography and create unique images using Adobe Photoshop.
